"The exterior of the building is wonderful along with the grounds. The interior however is extremely run down and our first room We were given smelt damp and had to be moved to a better room but still then extremely basic and cleaning standard not great. Not helped also by the fact they only offer housekeeping every 3 days. Hotel with huge potential but not being looked after and requires urgent attention would not recommend anyone to stay there"

The only issue (not their fault) they put me on the top floor and I struggle with stairs a lot as I’m disabled.. so, I booked a small single room but they have a huge room with a double and two singles great bathroom windows that open for air and the bed was great and the hot chocolate n biscuits. But I almost fell asleep my legs died underneath me and I was too shaky for what looked and slightly tasted like a fab breakfast. I was just...

"Lovely hotel, conveniently located very close to the M5. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming. It was a very hot couple of days when we were there; the air conditioning in our room was excellent. The hotel is very well presented and well maintained. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and for dinner. The chef had clearly gone to a lot of trouble with some of the dishes we had. The spa is also excellent. "We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience"

"The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed"

"Having air con in the room was a huge relief in the heatwave! However, throughout my stay there was a terrible smell of blocked drains around the reception area and near the restaurant. Breakfast was acceptable, but not brilliant (fried eggs were hard and rubbery, the bacon & sausages rather sad, and there was a poor selection of cereal). The whole place looked in need of a bit of TLC, but on the whole the staff were helpful."
