If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. "Well located next door to the train station/Stonehenge tourbus stop and easy and safe walk to everything in Salisbury including enterprise rent a car, which was nice for driving to Dartmoor National Park. Plenty of space for family to spread out in the 2BR unit with plenty of seating in living room. Lovely place, well appointed, and good value for money. I highly recommend."

The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! Our room was on the 2nd floor and fortunately there is a tiny ancient lift that is just big enough for 2 people and a suitcase, the room was 'cosy' but big enough, the ensuite had a good shower with somewhere for your shampoo etc if you didn't want to use theirs, it could have done with a hook nearby for your towel but that's my only minor complaint. "OK pub/hotel - charming setting and building and great shower/bathroom. Wifi also fine. But my room was very small - barely enough room to walk around a single bed (and this for £110/night), bed was very uncomfortable and reception was never manned (I had to go and find staff 3 times). At 30% less price this would be fine, but at the price I paid I would not recommend."
