"The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. However it took about 1h 30 for our food to arrive. We ended up cancelling our starters because it all took so long. I pointed out that a couple next to us who arrived after our table were served all their courses...

The breakfast was fantastic, with French pastries, freshly brewed coffee, fresh fruit, and lots of little extras. Highly recommend this place to everyone, who would like to relax in the French alps. "This property is owner operated and your host Phillipe is quite charming. The property is deep in the hills above Aosta. There are no restaurants or markets. Nothing. The charm of being there is that you can have a nice home cooked meal and breakfast in a 14th century building. The beds were comfy with toasty blankets. We left the windows opened as the temps plummeted. It’s worth taking a walk around the neighborhood. It’s altogether about a 1/2 mile but enjoyable. "
