"This was a really special stay. The room was comfortable, clean and airy. We had lovely views of the mountain side. The staff were very welcoming and the meals were delicious. We had breakfast each day in the restaurant and there was plenty of choice of both hot and cold breakfasts. We had dinner on the first night and I had the kamb. The breakfast hall is quite small and gets crowded, but the food is good. This also applies to the dinner."
"Best ever farm stay and experience. Outstanding staff, food and chef that are well worth the cost. Unexpectedly good dormitory sleeping. Great hot showers are everywhere. Many activities that are well guided and some that are totally sublime that you can do on your own which cost nothing extra. Great Canyonside exploring and waterfalls to chase. Personal transportation to and from the Egilsstadirr airport was a great experience in itself.

"Self-check in was easy and allowed for flexible arrival time. The room was plenty sufficient for my husband and me in the big bed and 2 sons (ages 17 and 12) in the bunk beds. The two restroom facilities downstairs were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the instant coffee. The area around the hotel felt safe and was near a fuel station and restaurants."
"Delightful stay at Glacier World! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Iceland especially on a budget. Lovely front desk gal (named started with an “M” I believe) made us sandwiches and gave us fruit to go since we wouldn’t make breakfast the next day. Cozy reception area. "Clean accommodations! There is a brewery right across the street!! I had a little difficulty with the keyless pads but they did work. I walked to the airport and to the lighthouse. The mini market had lots of varieties of foods, children’s toys, and even ice cream. "
