"This was a passable hotel, but it felt older. Not particular nice and the only amenity was a bar of soap. There is no ice machine, and the breakfast that was included is just granola bars and muffins."
"No safe walkway to casino area, staff unfriendly and provided false info. Breakfast was always empty and took too long for service, do not provide towels or missing coffee to rooms. You much go pick up."
"The property had everything that I needed. It is located conveniently to the local restaurants, Chicago Metra train station, and was close to the Illinois Railroad Museum, which was my primary reason for going here.
The room was clean, quiet, and sufficiently setup with the basics like towels and cleansing products. The breakfast bar was setup nicely with foods that I liked."
"The hotel was very old and not kept up. Paint on bathroom door was chipped off. Curtains appeared dirty, sheets didn’t smell clean. Comforter had stains on it. Marijuana smell coming from next door filled the hallway. Shower head was barely functioning due to lime buildup.
You get what you pay for!!!!!
On a positive, the kitchen area down by the front entrance appeared clean and the front desk gentleman was nice."
"I HIGHLY recommend this property when visiting Rockford. The housekeeping woman was incredibly sweet and kind and Timothy at the front desk was eager to please, professional and polite. Our room was cleaned perfectly and if I needed anything all I had to do was ask and she was happy to help. I didn’t try the breakfast so I can’t say how that was but my mom did and she loved it. It’s right across the street from the Hard Rock and super close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Incredibly easy to find as well, it’s literally just off the freeway. We go to Rockford often and will be staying here for now on. While it’s not glamorous like the Hilton, they take cleanliness very seriously and that’s what’s important to me. "
