"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"Check in was great, nice & easy and the room was ready straight away. The room was a twin, a great size but very tired. The carpet could do with changing and the shower sealant definitely needs re-doing as it was black in areas. Breakfast was plentiful, could have been warmer but nothing too drastic. It even a separate gluten free section, including its own toaster, was impressed with that. There is also a Toby Carvery just opposite It served us well for 1 night but would not want to stay any...

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. "Hi arrived around 2 30am, no-one was about , other than a guest waitfor towels for the room, whe we got to the room it had no toilet paper or towels, we had a drink, but again no spoons, the bed was very cheap and lumpy and hard. We had to sleep with the window open, because of the heat ,the road was very loud. The window had a broken safety catch, so a child could fall out, the bed was under the window, the room looked to have been made up to a third word standard, I think it's owners...

"Unfortunately, the room temperature was hot beyond any reasonable level. Being British and living in an old home here in the UK I understand how hot upper level rooms can get in the extreme heat and was expecting the temperature to be excessive. The actual temperature was beyond extreme and the fan provided did not oscillate and was extremely noisy.
