"Need some refund of our bill as we had no lights in room"

"I was very disappointed with my stay, particularly with the cleanliness and poor customer service. The sink was plugged shut, and we couldn’t remove the plug. The water contained hair, making it seem as though the sink had not been properly cleaned. When we asked the receptionist for help, they were dismissive and immediately said they couldn’t offer another room. They only came to help after we asked several times. The bigger issue was the extremely loud, squeaky floor above us after 1 am....

"Stayed a few times now. Always clean easy to park and really nice staff. Highly recommend."

"Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot."

"Very pleasant stay! Weather was glorious so we managed to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine! Bedrooms were modern and clean. Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast."

"This is a scruffy hotel with dirty rooms. I would not stay here again."

"Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay."

"No lift to suites. (3 floors) honestly I was disappointed for the money spend. Chips off the sink in the Hellaby suite and lots of small things missing."

"Staff were really helpful ..food was excellent 👌"

"Good facilities and the staff were all polite and helpful."

"No check in desk, no room cleaning, no hot water, no heat, no breakfast service. Food very mediocre. Management of this hotel was disgraceful. Staff were amazing in very difficult circumstances. Stayed here many times before…..never again"

"Great stay, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend"

"The Manor House hotel is located in the centre of Dronfield, in itself a fascinating ex steel town. The hotel has a long history and has been well maintained. My room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well looked after. Breakfast was of a very good standard. Staff were attentive at all times. I was very pleased to stay at the Manor House hotel."

"A little gem, easy to get to and staff very helpful and pleasant. 2nd time staying g and will use again"

"Location amazing. Lovely staff all round. Room spacious and spotless. Bed to die for, could have stayed for a week."

"Loved this place! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the service with a smile very welcoming. Will definitely return here."
