"Everything was great. All the staff from every area were so nice. They make you feel welcome as soon as you get there. I would like to mention Esteban aka “speedy” his help and service was amazing. Also, at the pool bar Eduardo gave us an amazing experience, he is one the best bartenders we have ever met. We would be back soon for sure. "

"Very nice, would come again, got there early and was checked in to my room early no extra charge, and great rooms too. Food, you won't be disappointed, unless you like coconuts cuz there aren't any, I hoped for a station that makes juice smoothies, don't need the proteins whey or spirulina, just a blend of any of the wide selection of fruit available with water or milk would be so appreciated. And bring Pepto Bismol, not sure what got me there but I spent 2nd and 3rd day in the toilets....

"Very Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended This is by far one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The experience has been extremely disappointing. There is no clean or safe pool available for kids, and there are no activities or events as expected from a hotel like this. "We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...

"A wonderful time spent at the SMC resort. On this trip we didn't do the spa. It was a bit noisy than we're use to but we still had a relaxing time. We stayed as preferred club and not only was the service excellent in preferred but all over the resort. We cannot complain about the meals or our drinks and watching the entertainment outdoors under the moon and stars made it special. One drawback is they try to sell you timeshare but they did not pressure us when we declined. So thumbs up for SMC."

"Very good internet, location, pools, beach, loungers, rooms and beds. This is a time share and there’s a hard push on listening to the time share pitch which we didn’t love. They had bingo at 3:00p at the pool, which was fun and interactive. The rooms were large! We booked the grand suite and there was plenty of room for three people. We each had our own bed and sleeping area. Quiet."
