"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. During our six-day stay, we faced constant neglect: the front desk staff was dismissive, understaffed, and failed to provide basic information. Our room lacked a TV remote, which they never provided despite repeated follow-ups. Housekeeping was equally frustrating, skipping our room for three out of six days even after I personally requested cleaning. The food menu was repetitive and limited, and the 'play area' for my child was an empty, barren room with no toys. It felt like we were left to fend for ourselves from start to finish.""

"We had a fantastic stay at Sunscape and totally understand why we met so many repeat visitors while we were there. A smaller resort, with lots of activities, and AMAZING staff! Oh, and a good location too!"

"For an all inclusive hotel, the fridge was empty when we got there, there 4 of us in the family and the fifth day we were there they gave us one towel for everyone to use and it upsets me therefore I had to call the desk to request for more, they were nice enough to bring us some towels. also bottle water was limited, there was one day where they only gave us one bottle water therefore before we go back to the room we always ask for bottle water at the pool bar. Staff were great and friendly. Also food was always the same nothing different for breakfast , lunch and dinner (this is buffet) they only had 2 restaurants in the building. Another thing for families with kids, apparently kids are not allowed in the pool bar because the bar staff stated it is only for adults but when time came local people with kids were allowed to be in the pool and my kids were not therefore my husband was so upset and we thought that what kind of service is this. I didn’t know that they have this type of people working in this hotel. I wish we were told when we checked in that the kids are not allowed in the pool bar area so we know where we can place ourselves. Also another thing was , we didn’t know as well that to use the facility in the beach area like the cabana, you have to pay extra, those type of things should have been mention to us, so we are aware of what we need to pay or not to pay. We felt like we were all looked at all the time. It was uncomfortable to even chill anywhere where"

"Had good amenities but only if you have a black band which is part of thier exclusive club. Cant have the basic of liquor like Tito’s vodka unless you have a black band. Food in every restaurant except the hibachi was terrible. Staff is friendlier this time than last but I understand they have done staff from a neighboring resort that closed. People seemed to really embrace them as they were on top If thier game. Overall good experience except the good. That I would definitely have to think about before returning to Sandos."

"Our stay at Riu Palace Kukulkan was absolutely stunning and worth every penny. We loved everything about this resort and don't regret a single cent spent here! The culinary experience was a major highlight. All the themed restaurants were fantastic, especially the Steakhouse and the Asian food, but the seafood at the Main Buffet was exceptionally good-truly a standout! The staff members were adorable and worked so hard to make our stay feel unique and special. The entire property is pristine; our room was spotless, and all the swimming pools were incredibly clean. We had a flawless experience with zero complaints. I will definitely be visiting again. If you're looking for a high-quality stay in Cancun where you get exactly what you pay for, this is the place!"

"Another unforgettable stay at the Royal Sands! We’ve been coming here every year for the past 7 years and every single time the experience just keeps getting better. This place truly feels like a second home to us because of the amazing people who work here and the energy they bring every day. Huge thank you to Eduardo at the main lobby for taking such good care of us during check-in. We arrived super early after a red-eye flight and he went above and beyond to help us get settled in early. Our room was beautiful, the view was amazing, and everything was perfect from the start. To our poolside crew Angel, Pedro, Mario, the best bartenders and Damian, Tomas, Daniel, and Enrique, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! Seriously, thank you for making our days so fun, welcoming, and memorable. From the drinks, the laughs, the conversations, and just the overall vibes, you all made us feel so appreciated and taken care of every single day. We truly looked forward to seeing you all at the poolside every day. Also, thank you to Olivia and Ysela from laundry services for always being so sweet, helpful, and kind. Every interaction we had with the staff here was positive and genuine. You can tell everyone at this resort works extremely hard and it absolutely does not go unnoticed. Thank you all for making this vacation one we will always remember. We already can’t wait to come back next year and hopefully see all our people again."

"Fantastic experience staying at Secrets the Vine This was our second stay in a 12 month span and we came back for a reason! Great drinks, the pools are set at a great temp, and we had no issues getting chairs any day. Definitely will be back."
