All the bedding was stained and there were bugs on the beds (spiders) and on the walls (roaches) and flying (multiple flying insects) around the room. The laminate floors were peeling and the cracks on the doors were big enough to see through to outside. The odor in the rooms was so bad that it caused light headedness. "I did not like the fact that Hampton Inn, Galveston Tx, charges parking fees of $20 per night. That was maybe was a hidden cost unknown to Expedia. I was able to get the night desk to waive the charges, thankfully. LaQuinta in San Antonio also charged me nightly for outside parking which I was dumb enough not to notice until after checkout.
