"My partner and I have been here twice: Once with family, and the second as a couples trip. Both times were great experiences! The staff were so kind/friendly throughout our stays. The food at both the buffet and restaurants is very good, definitely above the norm/average of most all inclusives. Special shout out to our SLS Elite butler, Angel, made our 2nd stay even better than our first: Attentive and professional; when I had an issue with reservations, he made sure to come personally to rectify. Thank you again Angel, and thank you again SLS staff for an amazing weekend!"

"I gave this stay a five star because for the price it was as expected and priced right. The property shows some wear but it’s expected. The room was comfortable, clean, bed comfy, excellent view. The food was again, as expected. Breakfast was great. There are many options. Love that sit down restaurants are first come. No reservations. We found the staff at the buffet to be by far, the friendliest and their service was outstanding. Moises is amazing.the food options are typical. Lots of fresh fruit, juices, eggs dishes. We rented the cabanas on the beach. Worth every penny. You have them all day. The sargasso was everywhere but that’s out of their control. The water was more clear in afternoon. The drinks were great coffee shop was awesome. Open 24hrs. . Don’t expect entertainment to blow you away. We came for a relaxing long weekend. It was wonderful. Only negative was the spa staff is too aggressive. They should have salt and pepper on dining tables. You have to ask for it."

"Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful. Now the hotel was clean but in need of major updates and remodeling. I had a room where the Ac barely worked, even with the ceiling fan on it was still warm in my room. The hallways felt cooler than my room. My shower walls were filthy in some black sort of dirt. I had to go buy dawn dish spray and try to clean them myself since housekeeping never bothered. My shower would flood every time we used it. There were stains on walls. Had a broken glass cup that was never changed. Not enough outlets in the room. The tv remote was a joke, I couldn’t figure out how to properly change channels or volume since there were no obvious remote buttons to tell you. Sometimes the tv turned on sometimes it didn’t. The couch in the room was old, curtains had holes in them. Let’s just say this. The hotel is older and needs major TLC. Won’t be coming back."

"We have traveled to Hyatt Ziva numerous times. It is the best resort to spend time at. We love the staff and workers and they remember us when we return. The restaurants are always great and it is truly Paradise. If you ever get the chance to go, you will be a repeat customer!!!"
