"The hotel is average. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities are good. What I didn’t like is the breakfast dining hall which is open from all sides and flies are roaming around. The butter was left open which should have been covered to ensure hygiene. Lots need to be improved."

A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future."
