"Lovely room comfortable bed staff friendly and helpful and a lovely breakfast"

"We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places. There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. "All good but it felt like there was constant cleaning around you as cleaning staff had trolleys in the corridor which made it feel a little unorganised and messy"

"Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again."

"Communal areas excellent but rooms a little tired, especially bathroom which needs some tlc. Staff excellent. Dogs allowed and well received."

Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...
