"The hotel is very basic. The rooms are “tired”, in need renovation. The lighting both in the room itself and bathroom is very poor. Other than the pool area, the hotel does not have nice/ comfortable seating or hang out areas. The breakfast was also basic and the food quality can certainly be improved. The reception shuts down completely at 10 so if you have an issue after that time, you are out of luck. The rules about room keys are prohibitive - you only get 2 keys (even if you are 4 people in the room), m and if you lose one you have to pay $20!! The pool area has some thermal water pools but it is generally poorly lit at night after 6, so you cannot really use most of them. We did not enjoy the experience and vibe at this hotel. "

"Loved the walking trail and landscaping. The whole property was very pleasant to walk around. We saw many beautiful birds. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and outdoor bar. There is an excellent soda, and a convenience store a short distance away."

"Hot springs are amazing. Grounds are beautiful allow at least an hour to walk around. Hotel charged us for someone else’s drink but they fixed it. Highly recommend "

"Exceptional customer service (specially bartender) and atmosphere. Believe we stayed at one of the newest rooms —amazing for enjoying the rainy evening in the hot tub. It felt like home in the middle of the rainforest. "

"Our chalet was absolutely beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Loved being in the middle of nature and also close to the La Fortuna waterfall. The hammock on our deck and large rain shower was wonderful. Unfortunately when we came the resort was under a complete re-haul and the pool and main reception area was not available. But they were very upfront about that from the start and gave us free breakfasts at a local restaurant and also free tickets to Mistico Hanging Bridges. From the look of the construction the resort is going to be amazing when complete. We would love to come back and see it finished!! "

Service was unbelievable, Kevin, Yeraldin, Genesis, and Fabiola truly made us feel welcome and really elevated our experienceWe stayed here for our last day and night. It was so great that we canceled our plans and stayed there the entire day. The swim up bar is a hot tub. We had a massage, next to the river, easily the best massage I’ve ever had. The swim up bar is a hot tub. Food was incredible. Extremely private we were 1 of 2 couples on the property. "
