"Our family of four had an amazing time at the observatory despite not being able to view the volcano. The dinner at the restaurant was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Edward, our guide for the nature tour was excellent. It was raining very hard during our tour but he took his time attempting to find monkeys for us and was successful! We saw both howler and spider monkeys on the walk. My family had a lake view room. We were further away from the restaurant and reception....
"The hotel was clean and we enjoyed the amenities. The hot springs were great but some were so hot we couldn't get into them. The restaurant was good and the free breakfast was excellent. Our kids had a great time in the pool and seeing the birds."
"Fantastic location for visiting Arenal area. Hotel property is well maintained and easy to get around. Staff were all very helpful, especially when suggesting route to take to next hotel after a landslide closed the main road. Eating breakfast on porch overlooking lake was fantastic!"
"I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff, room accommodations and environment perfectly captures the spirit and flavor of Pura Vida. It is truly a sanctuary for a person or couple looking to relax and enjoy the essence of Costa Rica."
