"When our room was cleaned they changed out the towels and took trash. Empty paper roll for toilet and dead bugs on floor. Only half cleaned. Not good. Then a dinner reservation was made for Sunday inside and then we find out that restaurant isn't closed on Sunday so eating on the veranda. Staff should have known that when taking reservation. "Overall, it was clean. Bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were fine. There was a small puddle on floor in one of the rooms. A windowsill in the common area had a dead mosquito. Front porch furniture wasn’t clean. Didn’t meet a staff member until ready to leave. Extra supplies were provided upon request. "

"The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. "

"Breakfast was nice, but limited. Room was clean. Passing by rooms, you can hear TVs and conversations, so not so sound proof."

"There was nothing in the kitchen drawers. I didn’t want to cook anyway. The breakfast said that there would be fresh fruit and there was none. I was there for two days. Very nice location very nice room. Forge Garage restaurant was right next-door in the same parking lot. That was a big Plus."

"Right in the heart of historic downtown Sanford. Short walk to Lake Monroe and all of the local amenities. Check in was a breeze and the room was tastefully designed and color coordinated very well. The ceilings are high and the ceiling tiles are very unique. There are artistic touches in the entire unit which makes it quite cozy and fun."
