"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up.
You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. "

Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"I booked 2 rooms sea view, Queen beds and balcony.
Our room was tiny with a double
Bed not queen. Whilst the other room was much larger with queen bed and large walk in shower.
I paid the same rate for both these rooms
Unacceptable in my view."
"We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive during our stay. The room itself was clean, although somewhat dated in appearance. The main issue was that the air conditioning was not functioning, and the portable unit supplied as an alternative didn’t work particularly well. Despite this, we had an enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant, and breakfast the next morning was of a good standard."
"The balcony overlooking the sea was beautiful, it was so nice ti sit there in the evening and first thing in the morning.
All the staff we met were absolutely lovely. Check in was quick and easy.
Hotel is a bit dated. The ladies toilets by the bar were blocked but the gentleman working reception guarded the toilet door for the men's whilst my friend used it so she felt safe.
The bed was really comfortable. I should have asked for an extra pillow as one wasnt enough for me, but this didnt spoil the stay.
The room was a great size. Free toiletries smelt really nice.
Close to town and the station.
I would stay here again"
"Clean and tidy room, but I do wonder if it is overpriced.
The location is great, but the weather each year is the same - pro-longed periods of hot weather but the rooms are not suitable as they are like furnaces. Hotels all over the UK and many other businesses are not taking action to deal with such conditions.
A small fan is not sufficient and I understand the hotel is of an age Air Con is not possible to be fitted, but more fans would have been ideal.
They were unable to provide our room earlier, as they were sourcing a fan to put in the room + house keeping still ended to sign it off, so it is clear there are not enough fans for all the rooms, never mind two. I know the hot weather is something they are unable to control, but with the rooms being so hot, and it often being a yearly regular occurance, a good nights sleep wasn't possible, one bit. For the price we paid, over £230 for the lead in room, it wasn't value for money.
We have stayed a few times before - no recognition of this fact.
The breakfast was lovely but the continental offering has reduced down quite a bit since we last came a few years ago. Again, things change but it was noticeable the accessible items were reduced and the range was limited. Hot breakfast was tasty, well cooked, great ingredients and not greasy at all. "
"I was pleasantly surprised with the Grand Burstin. Hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly and the amenities were fantastic. The entertainment at the hotel was out of this world and so unexpected. I had a wonderful evening full of entertainment. Bar staff are very friendly. Especially the lady with the long brown hair. Thank you Burstin!"
"Our getaway at this hotel was sublime. The grounds, pool, gym, and staff were all perfect. The location is great for visiting Rye and Camber sands. We will most definitely return as soon as we can."
