Khách sạn Moreton-in-Marsh

"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"(Lake view room) Excellent hotel in a beautiful area. The rooms have everything you could need, they are clean and are very well maintained. Friendly staff in the hotel and in the surrounding restaurants. Highly recommend the Gateway Cafe for brunch."

"The staff were most welcoming and helpful. The property is absolutely gorgeous and food and drink was amazing!"

"Location and property had received upgrades. Food as good !!"

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"ALL GOOD GREAT STAFF."

"La nostra camera era piccolina ma molto carina, una tipica camera di una locanda inglese ma curata e modernizzata. Atmosfera molto bella e suggestiva, abbiamo provato anche il ristorante (caro ma buono). Macchina parcheggiata ad un minuto di distanza dalla struttura (parcheggio gratuito notturno e fino a 2 ore al giorno)."

"Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stag. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the room was well appointed and comfortable. Our only concern was the presence of black mould in the shower and around the bathroom window. The amount and odour were noticeable, and while it was clear that cleaning products had been used, the area would benefit from some maintenance and remediation. Parking was also a bit challenging to find. Google Maps was not particularly helpful, so we...

"We recently stayed here and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was exceptional—spotlessly clean, wonderfully bright, and remarkably spacious, making it a very relaxing space to unwind. The staff were a real highlight of the trip, always polite, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. Our only minor gripe was that there didn't appear to be a vegetarian option available for the full English breakfast, which would have been a welcome addition to an otherwise brilliant morning...

"We had a great time staying here, even though it was only for one night. The staff was very accommodating and while we missed breakfast, they were able to leave us bags of food to take on our early morning car journey the next day. The dinner at the restaurant downstairs was also wonderful. Only complaint was at the shower. Could’ve been a little warmer!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Lords of the Manor. The room was spacious and clean, with high-quality towels and bed linen. The gardens were beautiful, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!"

"The most beautiful hotel with so much history and beauty"

"Large spacious room, comfortable bed Breakfast divine with multiple options. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again"

"Not very convenient on site amenities. Restaurant and bar had limitations and they seemed to run through staff quite often, limiting assistance to guests. I expected more on site as they definitely have the capability."

"Great location. Staff were nice."

"Lovely"
