"I made my reservation over 6 months ago for my graduation. To my surprise I got to the hotel & there were no more rooms so they sent me to the Courtyard. Not sure why they weren’t prepared for the amount of people coming in town for the graduation but they should have been. Not a good look for them & not the way I wanted to start my graduation weekend. I will NOT EVER recommend someone staying at that hotel."

"This is an older building with a lot of charm. It's not slick or sleek, so if that's what you are looking for, don't stay here. The room was large and well stocked. The bathroom was quite modern. I love it here! It's not a chain hotel with a gym and a pool, keep that in mind. The food was excellent and the service wonderful."

"Joan is very friendly and helpful. She seeks to accommodate guests in whatever way she can. My room was quiet and had a private bathroom and shower. I was able to arrive quite late my first night, around 2am, and was left clear instructions on how to get in. Everything was clean and charming. Thanks Joan!"

"Everything was great. The room was impeccably clean, but we were missing face cloths, the lights above the beds didn't work (needed new lightbulbs maybe?), and the TV remote was missing. It was late at night when we discovered these things so no one was there to call and it certainly wasn't an emergency. Nothing we couldn't live without but just wanted you to know for the next guests. Breakfast was excellent as usual and we had fun visiting the Cellar Bar for the first time. Lovely! We always...

"This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here."

"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff.. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also went to The Tavern located in the hotel for dessert at the end of the day, which was also very good. Great location. Would definitely stay here again"

"I book two room one was perfectly find but another room is no towel I complained no show I stay 4 day 3 nights no room services and also second last day toilet clod up water didn’t come from tanks I complained no one make and also when I email twice to manager and calls no buddy helps that terrible experience in my life I pay full with hotel name and services"
