Our room facing onto Darby St with an enclosed balcony was very dark. Sound proofing adequate. Walls and tiles in balcony area black. Inside the apartment the carpet almost black and black tiles in the kitchen. Although this helps with disguising wear and tear it was a bit depressing. The furnishings were of good quality.
