This was my absolute worst hotels.com experience hands down. The room was so dirty that I tried to cancel my reservation, a first ever. And I’ve stayed in some funky places but this takes the cake. The furniture had crusty stains like 3-D stains, the remote control was covered in some kind of sticky goo, sheets stained, burn holes in the blanket, bathroom was a nightmare. Had to wake up at 4am to catch a flight. There was a prostitute coming in and out of an open room, homeless guy (very nice guy) sleeping outside my room on the stairs. I have no idea how this hotel got a good rating. Would never stay here again.
The hotel’s room was clean and the manager nice. There were two complementary cups of coffee in the bedroom, that were replaced every day.
Unfortunately, the neighborhood is special ; some homeless people around and others who look drunk or high.
At night, I was waken up by people yelling. It happened every night ; nothing serious like gun shots, just people having a fight or I do not know what. It is also quite noisy because of the road very near.
In summary, it is a good hotel still because I never felt unsafe. It was clean and the people working there were nice. The only problem is the neighborhood...
This place always make me and my children feel welcomed and at home. Despite the area/ location the Owners/ management always makes sure we are and feel safe.
The Room size was more comfortable, bathroom was ok, with nice bedsheets, but their conforter is too old they need to change it, nice environment, assessable for transportation, especially buses to most train stations, etc, etc.
I absolutely appreciate how comfortable my stay was. And the cleanliness and condition of the rooms it was relieving to be able to finally find a hotel that wouldn’t make me feel out of place because I have four children.
Because the neighborhood isn't the safest, the fact that the door had no safety lock on it was a concern for me. Also, the WiFi was spotty. Other than that, everything was clean, there was a refrigerator in the room, huge plus. And it was clean.
There are few restaurants in the area. But there is a shopping mall close by. the hotel sign is not outstandingly obvious, can be missed when driving by. But the property is clean and well looked after. The room is very clean. the fridge is excellent. there is no microwave. Shower is clean and working fine. toilet is also clean. sink in the room is excellent. well lit mirror. overall excellent.

“Does anyone in the room have some hard”
I’m not one to rate hotels low. However, I think it’s necessary in this case. The staff was ok. But the motel was definitely a crack den. The furniture in the room looked like something that was found on the side of the road. I also had a crack addicted person knock on my door and ask if I had some hard. This place isn’t safe for a single woman or family.

Rough side of town.
There is no front office. The front desk is just a bullistic glass window like a drive through at the bank. Room door had been broken in before and the strike plate to the dead bolt was not fixed well. Result door does not seal the noise out. Many homeless and other people yelling in the parking lot. Very rough neighborhood nothing good near by. Won’t be staying there again.
My advice if you ever have to go to Oakland: DON'T!
We got in at midnight and the guy at the desk was pleasant but we got in the room, turned the sheets down and slept in our clothes not touching anything. We fortunately had taken showers at home just before leaving on our trip but we were not about to open our suitcases in the room. Thankfully nobody shot us as we drove out of town! There are worse looking motels in Oakland so this is not even the bottom of the spectrum.
Like something out of a movie. The place is filthy, the neighborhood is beyond scary, with homeless people roaming around, everything locked up behind bars and grates, sketchy cars cruising slowly around. The room was worse, cigarette-burned sheets and bedspreads and furniture. Greasy chairs, slippery carpet. The towels are so old that they feel like sandpaper. The wi-fi didn't work even after three trips downstairs to the front desk to ask the completely disinterested and disengaged manager to please fix it. This is one of the most depressing places I have ever experienced and looks like a good setting for a snuff flick or slasher movie. "Low-rent" and "sleazy" are kind descriptors. There is a really good taco place across the street, though.
