"Checked into the hotel on Tuesday and the owner was very helpful and answered very fast. While we had very few issues, such as the hot tub not heating up, he had it fixed that day or the next. Sometimes when booking I get nervous the pictures are better than the reality but the pictures are exactly what you are getting! The hotel is literally a minute from the beautiful beach. If you have a rental car like we did you can go so many places and it’s so amazing to have a base like the hotel....

"Big tripple room with two bedrooms, and small kitchen, very clean and comfortable. It also has a private terrace at the back and a common exterior garden like a lobby. Location is perfect, at the other side of the street, the famous Hotel El Convento, 8 minutes walk of Castillo San Felipe del Morro, 5 minutes walk of cruise port and plenty of gastronomy all around. "The location is a restaurant first, public beach second and a hotel third. The free parking is very limited and hotel staff will lie and say you can park outside the hotel when you will get a parking ticket and they won’t take responsibility."

"Love The Hotel, it’s beautiful and the location is great. But the Valet Parking is very slow, sometimes now one is there and you’re blocking the whole traffic on the street waiting for the valet. You need an extra person there.👌"

"Wonderful hotel in old San Juan. Historic building right in the historic district with easy walking access to main sites, forts, etc. The rooms are large with lots of character. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was small but very nice with a good view of the city and port. Beds were very comfortable and staff were helpful and kind. Really enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff were nice, the beach was close, walkable distance to restaurants and pharmacies. Some issues we encounter was that the room doors had a huge gap under so we can see sunlight and hear people walking and talking in the hallways. The building is in a noisy area, and right next to a nightclub. The floor felt grainy, the bed was uncomfortably too bouncy. The bathroom had tiny red insects crawling on the walls and sink around 1AM. The TV remote did not work unless you’re choosing a channel...

"Our experience at the Armas was wonderful! The location was perfect and close to all the nearby shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had no complaints and only positive experiences. Highly recommend! The shop right by the lobby has the best prices in town for all souvenirs, concessions, snacks, and the owner was so friendly. There is also a connected photobooth studio as well."

"We arrived the night of our check-in date and were notified there was no power at the hotel, but that it would be back around 2 am. We had noticed everyone else had power but they told us that it was their transformer that had messed up. We took it and went to bed. Mind you, they do not have any generators. We woke up the next morning and there was still no power. We went down to ask when the power would be back and we were told about another hour. Once again, we let time pass and still no...
