"Clean room, the lady on reception was so welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags as we had a later flight. Great location as it's about 20 minutes walk to the centre. Only thing I would say is bring portable chargers as we only had one plug socket in the bathroom."

"This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. "

The property is located in the center of Venice in a great location. The room is very clean and beautiful. The room was smaller than anticipated after viewing the photos. The room had a small bathroom with a shower, no tub and a small closet."

"Lovely hotel, previously stayed when it was Lacanda san Barnaba and the upgrade is really great, whilst still keeping the originsl ceiling frescos and other features. Great new updsted bathrooms. Great communal areas as well as fab breakfast. Only slight niggle was not much hanging space and no drawers but easily manageable. Overall a great stay"

"I liked being greeted by staff like I was an old friend. They sat us comfortably in a cozy lobby area with drinks and warmth. To be honest until we got here I was not liking Italy at all. This hotel and staff was/is all the good stories I have heard about Italy. I liked it so much I changed our trip and extended our stay here in Venice another day. Thank you for letting us see the original side of Italy."

"The apartment was perfect for what we needed - great location a couple of minutes from Academia bridge, clean and nicely appointed. Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful."

"Rooms are very nice, Venician style 2 beddroom with shower room and cooking facilities built into cupboard with fridge, cooker hob, sink and microwave. Complimentary soft drinks already in fridge."

"Staff was excellent with helping us obtain transportation to and from the train terminal. They also helped arrange a last minute tour of the glass factory. Cocktails were very nice, not the largest selection, but well made."

"From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we reluctantly left, the staff treated us as if we were in their homes. The door staff was friendly, helful and always available. The breakfast team were incredibly talented. The food, service and serving ware were all perfection. The room was spacious, quiet, very clean and well appoin ted with lovely amenities, linens, towels and products. We will find a reason to return...if there were more than 5 stars to give we would give them!"

"The room was clean. We traveled light and the room was not too small (larger than most Tokyo hotels). They provided a few drinks for free and the hotel had free wifi. Location was quite good. It is close to several of the Boat Bus stops. The hotel is a bit if a walk from the main area of San Marco but this was a benefit for me as it was less crowded. The restaurants nearby are just okay. Staff was helpful although we tripped the circuit breaker and the guy that was sent there to help did not...
