"The owner was proactive and contacted me in plenty of time with details such as where to park. The flat has good cooking facilities and a very effective washer/dryer for your clothes. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft for my liking. This is an excellent base for exploring around Bristol and to the south. If your satnav suggests using Manor Road to approach from the south force it to use wider roads, Manor Rd is more like a Devon lane than a real road!"

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Really loved our short stay at this place. Very clean, very well laid out and above and beyond with the snacks/drinks left out. Very convenient for Bristol Airport. Unfortunately a late evening arrival, dry early next morning flight meant that our stay was short and we didn’t see the place in the daylight! Would happily return."

"It was a lovely room, nicely decorated and good quality presentation of the room including the tea/coffee facilities in the room, but there were 2 things that let it down. Firstly it was a very cold room, the radiators weren't on in both the bedroom and the bathroom, and the aircon unit in the bedroom, which was also a heater was not that powerful, and also there was no heating in the bathroom, and with the very large porcelain floor tiles in the bathroom, it was freezing! "Really great place to stay if you have a flight from Bristol airport. Check in was at the bar and then they showed us to our room. Very clean and comfortable bed. We also arrived just before 6pm on a Sunday when the restaurant kitchen closed at 6pm and they allowed us to eat once we had settled in after this time and made an exception. Continental breakfast was laid out from around 1am for early flights which was a really extra touch. Would really stay again even if it wasn’t for an early...
