"The accommodation was fantastic, staff were really friendly and the price was really good. Staff were always on hand to help day and night and the atmosphere was very relaxed. "Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return."

"Fabulous bedroom & bathroom (The Arkwright Suite). Really lovely building, very clean with tasteful decor. Steak for dinner was excellent, while the beef pie was overcooked and hard. Pudding was gorgeous. Breakfast was very disappointing - chefs off duty? Staff were a bit hit and miss and not that friendly. We'd definately stay again when the gardens are in bloom - just maybe not have the breakfast."
