"The whole place is clean and beautiful, most of the staff is helpful and very friendly. The people trying to constantly sell you the package upgrade are VERY friendly. The food is Mid at best, if you want a good pastry forget about it. The pool is beautiful, and the water park looks fun but it all closes at 5pm so it's hard to enjoy if you are doing any excursions or tourism. But if you have any issues, booking schedules, dinner reservations or anything else, good luck. Noone knows what's going on, we were bounced around for hours going in circles being told to do one thing tomorrow to fix it, just to me told tomorrow... No that can't be done! However, they have no issues trying to sell you on the idea of spending 10's of thousands of dollars. On their "world class" resort. That in reality is not better than any cruise ship I've been on."

"The resort is nice! Off the beaten path a bit. We took an Uber into Cancun one night for dinner. Very quiet and relaxing. "

"We were originally given the wrong room when we checked in; 1 king bed instead of 2 queens. They were able to provide 2 extra beds for our kids as we couldn’t move until the next day. Front desk staff were nice, however, there was generally only 1, sometimes 2 people; so if you needed anything at a time people are checking in, could be waiting a while. Had to wake up early to get pool chairs; by 6:30 most were already saved. Aside from that, food was good, staff was nice, and the pools were great. Kids loved the mini golf course. There was also a basketball court, that also had soccer nets, right by the golf course. Wasn't the greatest condition, but my son and I still had fun using it. "

"this was our 2nd time to Secrets riviera and have booked for next March 2027 . Love the small secrets side very personal. Staff are fantastic. building 2 ocean view our favorite. "

"Overall we had a great experience. Who made it memorable was Yael Coba. She was wonderful and took care of every need we had plus more. We will remember her forever. Even though we are rating it a 5, we did not like the mini bar. I had to call and chat several times just so they would bring us a beer. For an all inclusive, you should stock with beer even after you have requested it. The last two out of three days no beer was stocked in the mini bar"
