"Building 1, is unsanitary. My patio slider did not even lock, if management is unaware, then there is a breakdown in communication for usually obvious reasons. Beware of room condition, construction onsite that you get no relief from. Old plumbing that stinks and unreliable hot water, unhealthy for seniors. Management is all about profit and they lie."

"I had a very disappointing experience with Blue Horizon Lodge. The location was infested with rats, and they had gotten into our food, leaving bites and feces everywhere. It was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Despite not staying there after the first night, the owner refused to provide a refund and simply didn't care for customer safety. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues. I want to inform others so they can make an informed decision before booking here....

"Room was clean, we had all we needed ( small fridge, coffee machine, coffee, cups). Parking right in front of the room. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Come here once a year for a getaway."

"The Hotel near the lake is fairly quiet. Great blinds, curtains, large bathtub in my upstairs room. WiFi didn’t work in my room, it was a slight inconvenience for me, I guess that it’s down, not strong enough or something. The room is spacious. I was very comfortable. View of the lake was nice. There was construction during my stay but it was bearable. I highly recommend booking direct and save lots!"

"The bath fan didn't work so there was mold on the ceiling and not great when somebody else used the bathroom. Toilet was so small it was uncomfortable. We got pretty bad sleep because of how noisy the neighbors were and how thin the walls were. Could hear everything. Good location and good customer service brought it up to a three star."

"The room did not have a lot of amenities. Some basic necessities, such as an iron, an ironing board, and a coffee maker were not included in our room. The bed was very unstable and shifted when someone sat down or lay down in the bed. The ground at the foot of the stairs was dangerously uneven and with the puddles of water and snow, it was very dangerous. The lobby area had an unpleasant odor. It could’ve used air freshener and maybe some fresh flowers. For the cost of the room, I would’ve...

"We were disappointed with our stay due to multiple problems. Check-in was super frustrating, we never received the expected text for mobile check-in, and when I got through on the phone they told me you can only check in through text. They can’t do it over the phone, which makes no sense in a mountain town where cell service is spotty. It took almost half an hour to get the text then go through their online system to finally get another text with the code. A creek was actively flowing directly...

"We had a great stay at the Casita De Sergio. It had all the conveniences of home for my husband and I, plus our dogs. It's a lovely place. The only negative was the tub in the hallway bathroom getting clogged. The plumber was called for service."
