"Very noisy private function made it impossible to sleep - had to change rooms at midnight. Horrible experience - would never return. Was promised a refund and will be pursuing this. "

"I was happily surprised by the hotel. Wasn’t expecting much. Staff at checking were helpful, could have been more clear about charges (breakfast and parking). We were a big group and had a great time. Lit from the restaurant and bar was very nice and helpful!! Breakfast was good"

"The room was big and shower room also very big very happy with wat I got spotless the staff were great and the fact u can use the spa fasilities next door is a massive bonus I didn't have breakfast has I'm not a breakfast person however I spoke to people who said there were a lot of options to chose from and good qwality food I did have a coffee from the bar which I did think 5.50 for a small coffee was expensive but overall very good "

"This was our second visit to St,Davids hotel, the first about 7 years ago, so we were delighted to find that the hotel is still a fabulous venue to stay. Exceptional service ( particulalrly David, Deputy Manager) and our room was great! Will return again and can thoroughly recommend."

"The hotel was a really good we were pleased with our choice particularly with other high ranking hotels in the mix! The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and helpful and the package we got made our stay extra special for our first wedding anniversary! The bar was nice and relaxed and a great range of drinks! We stayed breakfast but chose to have breakfast just one of the mornings initially so we could experience a breakfast in the centre of Cardiff. The breakfast was average and although we ordered our coffees none arrived - this was probably due to how busy it was. The breakfast we had the following day in Cardiff, although slightly more expensive, was delicious, fresh and promptly given. The location of the hotel was excellent! The pillows could be slightly more firm and it was noisy at times in the night due to other guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great time! Thank you 😊 "

"The room was clean and the toiletries were easily accessible and lovely to use. There was a good choice for breakfast. Staff were very friendly but slow to clear the used plates and cutlery. The bar was very busy and quite noisy but good choice of beverages "
