"In all honesty, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at; When it comes to peace, quiet, calmness and comfort. It has this soft, dark-ish style with low lights. The spa was excellent, and the dinner was amazing. The price you pay for the quality of the food is very, very good. The breakfast was also outstanding. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel, and we recommend it 100%."

"Wonderful boutique hotel in a quieter area of Viseu surrounded by water fountains, a lovely church and a simply wonderful park with an abundance of wildlife. Great selection of close restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Vintage restaurant just a 2 minute walk. The owner is a real charmer. The staff at Avenida are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. A highly recommended stay"

"The place is located on a very beautiful mountain, the rooms are comfortable and the views incredible. Would be great for the pool to have cement stairs for better accessibility for older people and children, and for the surroundings to have more places of shade."
