Fresh and tasty breakfast, friendly staff, clean room,

Great room, very quiet and clean. Very large selection of breakfast items, staff were very kind indeed.

Highlight of the hotel.. Located on a tram station... Excellent room.. Very clean spacius.. Top notch.. Will definately use it again

Great stay. Metro and tram right outside with direct link to centre

Staff was polite and efficient. Breakfast was well stocked and the Breakfast team were cheerful in their service.

Booked a river view room and it definitely did not disappoint! Check in was super easy and breakfast was lovely every day we were there. We did not get to use the pool during our stay but it looked amazing! They had a designated information desk at reception, if you had any questions about the local area which I thought was great! Lastly, the location of the hotel is perfect! About a 15/20 minute walk to the city centre.

Really cool interior decoration, a lot of content in the hotel (games, bar, restaurant) and friendly staff. Hotel has recently been renovated and smells good!

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. The staff were fantastic and so friendly, every one of them. We had unlimited free wifi which for us was a big plus. Our room was available three hours early so we could freshen up after our flight. The breakfast room was busy but there was never a queue or too much noise. We will DEFINITELY stay here again, the staff really "made" our trip to Prague.

Perfect location! So close to Charles Bridge but away from the crowds. Easy walking distance to all locations, so we did not bother with transport but was on the door step. Hotel staff very pleasant especially the receptionist who seemed to be there full time! Breakfast was great, with a good choice and great coffee. The afternoon soup etc was a bonus. If we were to visit Prague again we would definitely stay here again.

Outstandingly warm welcome. Friendly staff took time to listen to our questions and give us helpful advice. Quiet location within easy walking distance of Prague Castle, Loreta and Petrin Tower . Tram 22 from the nearby square, runs near the Charles Bridge and takes you over the river (seemed to run every few minutes and was extremely cheap!).

Hotel was clean, breakfast excellent, location good! Definitely stay again!

I have stayed in many 5* hotels all over the world and also lower stars. But Golden City proves that smaller hotels can beat 5* hotels easily. Golden City is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Trams to everywhere literally outside the front door: loads of food shops and eateries of every description. In fact it was more interesting in the hotel area than the tourist places. I cannot praise the staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble and every one of them was pleasant and very helpful....

It's a great place to stay!

Perfect hotel in a perfect location, all kinds of transport, shops and restaurants available in the vicinity. Incredibly easy access to the city and old town area

Everything is spotlessly clean

Ideal airport hotel—very short walk to the terminal and easy to get there from central Prague on public transport. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The restaurant was also a handy extra with fast service. Just what I needed at the end of my trip!

Thank you

My husband and I have just returned from our 3 night city break in Prague. Hotel We arrived very early in the morning and the hotel kindly kept our luggage until later when we could check in. The room was very spacious for a city hotel with plenty of storage, a safe and mini fridge. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, boasting a double sink and fantastic shower! It was without a doubt the best hotel shower we've had with great water pressure! The free breakfast was such a bonus! There...

The staff go above and beyond and always so wholesome and cheerful. All the online reviews about the staff being the beating heart behind this hotel's enduring success are spot on. An example: Our room had no kettle, and as we make our own coffee with our own travel 'contraption' and more importantly in the winter, needed to fill a hot water bottle due to serious back pain we were really disappointed not to have one in the room. No problem at all-- the lovely chap at reception found one in the...

Really enjoyed our stay here!! Such a lovely hotel with great staff!! Close to the centre and transport links.
