"My stay at Grand Bavaro Princess was mixed overall. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the beach area is one of the highlights of the property. The rooms were clean, and some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the facilities are showing their age and could benefit from significant updates. Many areas of the resort feel outdated compared to other resorts in the same category. The biggest disappointment was the level of service. While a few employees went above and beyond, the majority of the staff seemed uninterested in helping guests. Simple requests often felt like an inconvenience, and interactions were frequently lacking warmth or hospitality. On several occasions, it appeared that staff attitudes changed depending on whether a tip was given, and some employees seemed visibly frustrated when guests did not tip. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere that detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation. Overall, the resort has potential thanks to its location, beach, and beautiful grounds, but improvements to the facilities and, more importantly, customer service would greatly enhance the guest experience. Based on my experience, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars."

"The resort was great. It was well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Luis was amazing and always available whenever we needed anything, whether it was checking in on us, answering any questions, or helping with any issues on the property. He always greeted us with a big smile and kept us laughing the entire time. Our butler, Rafael, was also very helpful. He assisted us with restaurant and show reservations, checked in on us regularly, arranged transportation for us, and was always available to answer any questions we had. Both of them helped make our stay much more enjoyable and stress-free."

Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites - All Inclusive

"So I have been to iberostar several times but this last time will be my last. The refrigerators in the rooms do not cool they just maintain the drinks at room temperature. They do not provide water bottles instead they give you a glass bottle to fill with water at “filtered” water stations throughout the resort. The ice machines never have ice. This is extremely sad as I bragged to my partner in how beautiful this place was. I was let down. The first room smelled like the cheese section of a supermarket, there was hair in the sink and inside the water bottle that I was supposed to fill with drinking water. They changed me to another room which was worst it had HEALTHY roaches I was so stressed as this was just my first night. We went back to the front desk to show them videos of the roaches in the room then and only then they decided to upgrade us to the Coral section of iberostar. The room was in better shape the AC in any of the rooms did not worked properly. Overall I am disappointed. If you are diabetic or someone who’s drinks a lot of water DO NOT GO HERE! Iberostar is not what is was!"
