My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Hacienda San Angel in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We were in there for a week and had an amazing stay. It was located just a few minutes from the beach. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Our room and the entire hotel for that matter was full of art works, sculpture and paintings. There was a folder in our room with detailed information on all the works in the room. We have done a lot of traveling in the past but the Hacienda San Angel was outstanding. The Hotel itself was stunning and the room couldn’t have been better, located right beside one of the three pools there. There were fresh chocolates brought everyday and there was a jug of ice water which was replenished at least twice a day. The restaurant was perfect for the occasion. The rooftop view was spectacular to watch the sunset from and it was also great for viewing fireworks. The mariachi music every night was part of the charm. They moved through the restaurant and had a way of making you feel special. On the nights we didn’t dine there we still sat by the pool and listened to it almost every night. The staff were truly wonderful. They were kind, gracious and welcoming. We really couldn’t have asked for more.
