"We had a great view of the ocean and pretty basic room. Hotel is tired looking. We somehow accidentally booked the room twice and they didnt cancel the extra booking. Said they would refund one night of it but didnt. The tv had a parental control set up so we couldnt watch all the channels but owner didnt know why or how to fix it. Laundry worked well, need quarters though. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was convenient. It was off season and not very full. Not fancy, but not...

"To be honest, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Somehow the booking got messed up and we got moved to another room. I asked if there was going to be additonal charges for that and I was told no. The second morning, they tried charging my card twice yet no one in the office could tell me why it was happening. Then they tried to charge me again that night over double the first attempted charges. Even left a voicemail saying that we didnt pay so we had to leave. The next morning,...

"Don’t get a room here is shady I did and had to get a room at a different hotel because they where all booked and booked me any way and I dint get a refund "

"The property is pretty nice. They’ve tried to upgrade it, but it’s an older building. The management was fantastic and let us check in early and even opened the pool and hot tub early. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is the floors, especially under the beds, were dirty. "

I did however found the room I got this time to be not as clean and squared away as well as it was before - eg the bed was made a bit messy and I found what I believe was blood on the bathroom floor. I also did have soon be trouble with my door not shutting and locking properly but they took care of it the best way they can relatively fast, which I’m very grateful for. I believe this is a local family run business and do like them a lot. Great place to stay...

"We have been to Ocean Shores many times over the last 22 years. In the past we have stayed at other hotels that are very close by. This was our first stay at the Grey Gull due to others were full. Turns out this one was way more reasonably priced then the others and it was on a clam dig weekend. The room was nice and even had a separate bedroom which I did not notice when I booked it. This will be where we stay in future visits to Ocean Shores. Thank you, Don"

"Often in Ocean Shores, over the years I have found winter visits can be hit and miss with pool availability. They not only had the pool open and available but keep it open later than other hotels in the town."

"The room was filthy other than a quick surface clean. The heat pump doesn’t work in tiny house 5 and they know it, but denied knowing. However its a 400sq ft cabin and that heat pump shoild be able to heat it, it was 61 degrees in there all night, with the heat turned up as high as it would go. They added a portable heater, a sign they knew. The entry door has so.muc water damage it is warped and really hard to open, really hard. If there was a fire, that is a liability.
