"I recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun, and it lived up to the hype! Less than a year old, the resort is modern, clean, and well maintained. Smaller, easy to navigate, and relaxing.
💰 Value: The price was reasonable; pool-view rooms are standard with no upcharge. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a king bed and loved it.
🏖️ Beach: You can access the beach from the resort, but it’s VERY small and not really walkable. Keep this in mind if the beach is your priority.
🍽️ Dining: There are Italian, Mexican, Spanish and Caribbean restaurants, plus a pizzeria and buffet. Specialty restaurants aren’t open daily, so check the schedule. No reservations are accepted; seating is first come, first served.
👏 Service: The staff was fantastic! Shoutout to Ceidi, who helped me find another restaurant when La Brisa had an hour wait and followed up to make sure I was okay. Mario, my cabana server, was equally amazing—attentive and kept my drinks and water flowing. They understood the assignment! 😂
🎶 Atmosphere: I visited during off-season, so it was quiet and not at full capacity. Daily activities and evening entertainment continued, with few kids.
One area for improvement is the lighting. Pathways and stairwells were minimal at night.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Great value, beautiful property, and modern rooms, plus excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d absolutely return and recommend it! 🌴☀️🍹"
