"Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. "

Having stayed at this hotel before, I have come to anticipate better quality. Unfortunately, both mornings' breakfasts fell short. The food served was merely lukewarm and unappetizing. The bacon was congealed and clumped together, the scrambled eggs were dry, and the beans were in the same unfortunate...
