"Very nice place to stay, lovely breakfast. Very good location for our trip, lots of nice pubs. I did find having to go downstairs to the bathroom a bit much during the night."

"One night stay in May 2024. The White Horse is a pub no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ripon and the cathedral. The rooms are converted stables at the back of the pub. The decor is basic and a little tired but if you’re going to book somewhere like this then you mustn’t expect opulence. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay here again on a return trip to Ripon. "

"stayed overnight on 27/10/15 the weather wasn't very good outside but the pub was full of very friendly locals and visitors. although we didn't have evening meal in the pub the people dining were enjoying the food which did look very good,the real ale vwas good too which was sampled by me lol. the room upstairs where we stayed was very nice was lovely and warm,the bed was very soft (infact just a bit too soft for us) breakfast next morning was plentiful and very nice. but overall we would stay...
