The room was mostly in good condition. However, we got woken up by the cleaning lady trying to come into our room after we didnt respond to her knocking, because there is no lock on the door and none of those tags that say do not disturb that we can put on the door. We also asked for a late checkout, and we were offered the option to pay €80 for the day. Our nightly rate came out to half of that so not sure why they wanted to charge us that for a few hours.

The hotel is a small boutique hotel but the service was great, staff was nice and very helpful. The beds were comfortable, great free breakfast spread with strong coffee and pastries. It's a great location as well. I would return to this hotel when I'm in Rome.

Alessio was super friendly and welcoming! He gave us some great recommendations around Rome. This hotel is in a nice quiet area, yet still walking distance from the livelihood of Rome. A great place to stay for a few nights :)

Few issues

The staff were very friendly but the room is extremely dated. We had one useable plug. The toilet didn’t flush. The mirror seemed to have electricity shooting across it. The bunk beds looked unsafe but they worked so that’s kinda moot. It was cheaper than most places and the location is good. Breakfast is good too!

Pictures are not what the hotel really is. Very old and poor maintenance. No hot water. The sink and toilet overlapped each other. Mold in the shower. Sheets think and rough. Hotel does have A/c but it is so old and not maintained that noise is unbearable to sleep, the do have fan ….. but it seems it will come off the ceiling at any time, and noisy too. I do NOT recommend this place at all! However, staff super helpful.

The hotel was clean, with moderate (sufficient) air conditioning while we were in Rome (it was about 93ºF/34º). The staff were very friendly and helpful with dining and transportation recommendations, and booked a taxi for us to the airport on our final day. It's about a 5 minute walk from bus stops, and 15 minutes from the nearest Metro stops, so well situated without being too close to the crowded downtown area. There were so many local (non-tourist) restaurants within a 3-block walk that we had no trouble finding excellent meals.
