"The rooms are decent and bed are comfortable. The reason for the two stars is the first room they checked us into smelled like weed. They fixed it and we were put into another room. The second room had ants on the counter and came from the bathroom. Finally we put our heads on the pillow to go to sleep that night and just dealt with it. "The hotel overall was great!! Walking distance to everything.. access to the ballpark which we utilized.. the pool was relaxing and the staff was very nice.. we did have an issue with the room and what looked like dried up dog poop left behind.. but the hotel took care of us.. I would definitely stay here again… worth the money"

Love the location, which is across the street from all the old town shops and restaurants, you have to try the homemade flour tortillas in the plaza, and Rockin Baja restaurant."

I didn't get a chance to use the restaurant/bar, but it looked nice. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Free Starbucks coffee on every floor. "Wow this place was immaculate. Looked and felt brand new and staff was sooo friendly and down to Earth. Breakfast was prob most authentic I have seen since crappy covid. The food was actually real and not microwave crap they even serve at Marriotts."

"I like the location of this hotel, close to Old Town SD. All was well, I liked the bed, pillows, sheets were nice and crispy. Breakfast was good and a plus. Only thing, I didn't like and was not expecting was having to pay for parking and that they took $100 dollars from my card for deposit and was charged. I am sure it will be returned but kind of concerned about it."
