Although our initial experience at checking in with my daughter wasn’t the best the rest of the staff and the rest of our experience during our stay was excellent! I like the overall appearance of the hotel, the rooms were nice and everything was central. Only thing that I would NOT recommend is because after we checked out and got ALL paper receipt's for our stay, I looked over it and everything looked fine. Now, 3 days later i'm getting charged for ANOTHER FEE?!?! I called the hotel and they said they couldn't do nothing about it. Which that extra "fee" WAS NOT included on my receipts NOR was I told about any extra fees 3 days after my stay. Ridiculous.

Staff was amazing. And the area was safe enough for down town definitely better then some other areas we got to see around there.

My stay at the San Francisco Marriott Union Square was pleasant. The hotel's prime location near Union Square was perfect for exploring shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great city views. The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The only minor downside was that some areas felt slightly dated. A strike was going on, and this detracted from the experience, but I don't fault the property for this. I recommend this hotel; it is great for business travel and is family friendly. I would gladly return.
