"We stayed at the hotel during three nights with above normal temperatures and while the hotel advertising said there was no air conditioning, we were disappointed that we could not sleep with the windows open because there were no bug screens and mosquitoes were present in the room. The staff was excellent on check-in and went above and beyond to help us move our luggage up the staircase. On another day, a different desk person was less friendly when we requested more coffee pods for the brewing machine in the room. The location of the hotel was great for us to tour anywhere in the canal area by foot. We had an excellent view of the canal and enjoyed watching all of the activity there. The room was clean and cozy."
