"Such a well run hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here. So much thoughtfulness and care without being fussy or stuffy. The setting is gorgeous and the comfort is top notch. I arrived on a late train, was met at the station, whisked to the hotel, greeted there by two of the staff and then one of the owners, given a tour to get oriented and taken to a comfortable room that was quiet and had a great night's sleep. "The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right."

"Loved this hotel. Great location in a small quiet town. Great access to public transport and all activities. We chose the Half-board option. Food was excellent and hotel staff very helpful. Would definitely go back in the future. Highly recommend this hotel."
