"Set in a quieter neighborhood, we greatly enjoyed our stay in the “penthouse.” After over 24 hours of travel, we loved having a place to let our stuff explode and reorganize. The little patio was charming. We could hear an accordion player in the square across the canal. We slept great as it was quiet and had AC. Watch your head on the beams though. The Hotel Antico Doge- a few minutes away, allowed us to store our bags until check in. We stayed on the top floor which was three flights...

"It was a comfortable stay and in a good location. Although we got very lost trying to find the place at midnight. Even the locals we asked for help struggled to identify our address. And the picture in the advertisement looked like there was a common area/kitchenette but we never found that. Overall, comfortable."

"I know affordable hotels in Venice are hard to come by but this was not worth the money we spent. I think we got the bad room which consisted of a pull out couch for a bed. As others have said it was the noisiest bed ever and very uncomfortable. You would think with the money they charge for such a room they could afford to put a real bed in there. Also the walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear the quest located beside you as if they are in the same room as you."
