"I felt the stay was good for the price. However, in the middle of the night, loud music from nearby rooms and the smell of tobacco smoke drifted into my room and bathroom, so I had to open the windows. I reported it to the front desk, and they were very accommodating — they refreshed my floor and room right away. The staff was helpful overall and took good care of me, especially since I was visiting from out of state. The staff was really helpful and made me feel taken care of!!!!!"

"I only stayed here for one night. Once I got into the room, I tried to put the deadbolt on the deadbolt does not have anything to connect to so it’s pointless. I went downstairs. He told me all the doors are like that. Then the mattress, oh my goodness, I had two flat sheets on my bed no fitted sheet. The mattress was horrible. Had cigarette burns and I think I saw a bedbug. I took a picture of it. I took a picture of the mattress. I took a video of it. I cannot sleep in that bed. The hot water...

"Stayed here for a weekend, and despite being only a few blocks from Times Square the property was clean, comfortable beds, quiet, and had great black out curtains. We got a king bed and it took up about 80% of the room, so this is a great option for smaller groups of 2-3 but 4 would be pushing it. Included a mini drink fridge and microwave in the room and had a filtered water station next to the elevators. Could hear doors slamming off and on all night, but none of the chaotic noise of NYC. Nice...

Secondly I was charged, acc to Expedia two different prices for my 2 nights there— again, Expedia would not assist despite my 3 calls to them. Riu plaza room was small but lovely.
