"The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port—about a 5 minute walk. Walking is quicker than a cab because of the traffic pattern. Lots of good eating options in the neighborhood. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only complaint is their weird breakfast set-up: rather than the usual buffet option, they offer a one-size-fits-all bagged breakfast. "

"Great location for the R train. The room was very small but we weren’t in it much. The AC didn’t work that great but we also didn’t say anything. It was a walkable neighborhood and great coffee, bagels, pizza nearby!"

"Parking was extremely limited. We were lucky to get a parking spot. Probably only about ten spots. Don't know where you park if they are all filled up. Breakfast was just okay, and I'm being generous. It wasn't the reason we booked it. The hotel was in walking distance of the Barclay Center for a concert. We fell safe in the building and the adjacent streets."

"Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope"

"This was objectively the worst place that I have stayed. There were myriad issues. First, the location was very out of the way and off the beaten path. It's not easily accessible. Once there, the rooms are like jail cells. There is only a bed, a nightstand, and a sink, with a water closet (toilet and shower). There is no chair, desk, or other furniture. The walls are marked up and scraped, and the paint in the water closets is peeling because there is no ventilation system. The showers had no...

"The room was TINY but I guess that's to be expected in NYC. The shower water could never regulate and was usually scalding. It was very close to Times Square which was convenient and the staff was very nice. Overall, considering we only slept in the room, it was fine."

"This was a typically good Westin hotel, with good quality, typical Westin amenities, and very helpful staff. The gym was great, and the location was very convenient, as it was just down the street from Grand Central Station."

"They can make some improvements in the amenities. Also, the coffee and breakfast offerings need to be stepped up as even the low low end hotels offer a coffee machine, as opposed to a 20 minute line downstairs to use your voucher in the mornings."

"Well sited for Downtown Manhattan. The restaurant has a limited menu but lovely staff. The room was very clean with great air conditioning. Breakfast is self serve with a good choice. The lifts take some time on occasion but otherwise work fine(there are many floors!)"

"Not a good experience overall. The outside of hotel was extremely loud, especially at night, making it very difficult to sleep. In addition, the staff were rude and very impatient when we asked for assistance, which made the experience even worse Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."
