"My bijou little room was on the first floor of the inn (as opposed to some rooms they have in separate buildings). Quite a nice little room but no view and I had to climb onto the bed to open the velux window. When I opened the bathroom window I had unfortunate cooking smells from the kitchen extractor which was a few feet away, so I only opened it outside meal times. There was no information in the room so I had to wait until the morning to get the WiFi code - I think this should have been...

"What a great location! It was very hot and even without AC we were comfortable as the fan provided was quiet and effective. The only reason it didn't get all 5 stars are the steps needed to climb to get into the hotel. That said it is Oxford and we hope to stay there again."

"Staff mostly spoke little or no English, this in the heart of Oxfordshire. Breakfast was very poor quality, cheapest items possible and poor presentation. 1 piece overcooked bacon, 1 pork sausage ok, scrambled egg ok, beans ok, horrible coffee and toast supplied warmed up rather actually toasted.
Room was accessed from a staircase at the rear of the untidy former pub property which was mostly unconverted. The staircase was shared with a disabled chair lift making the space to carry up bags...
