"There is no breakfast the photos on Expedia are deceiving as they show cooked breakfast. There is no cutlery or crockery if you order food etc. There is no shower gel or shampoo as per normal for most properties The toilet in room 1 didn’t always flush as the cistern only intermittently refilled. I don’t like the replies the owner gives to reviews that are negative - a little bit insulting and defensive rather than acknowledging issues. It was easy to check in and clean and tidy."

"The property is a very old one and hence a bit quirky but that’s fine. My room for instance was small with the sink in the main bedroom whilst the loo and shower were in the en suite but that was fine as I was by myself. The owners had put such thought into meeting my every need which was greatly appreciated- in the bedroom I couldn’t have wanted for anything more. "Great location. Lovely rooms as I’ve stayed in the hotel many times. Comfortable and clean. Gorgeous toiletries to use. Small car park but parking near by if you can’t park at the hotel but I’ve only had this issue once or twice. Highly recommended hotel"

"Property is large house with no AC. We were on top floor. No lift. Other than that the property was nice, comfortable beds and mist essentials provided. A little out of the way and pricy but it was last minute and it could have been much worse. They do a good job for an older property."
