"The rooms are small but the location cannot be beat. Just a couple of blocks from the heart of Times Square, this is an old hotel that has been nicely maintained. First and foremost, it is clean in both the common areas and the rooms. While small, the rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone who wants a relatively affordable hotel in a truly spectacular location."

"Asked waiter for a spoon at breakfast and he yelled back & pointed ,”they are over there”…. Embarrassing and they didn’t comp the meal & that waiter was working there the next morning….."

"The whole property just smells of really intense urine. It’s so bad that it made me feel sick. They do not clean the puddles or urine outside the hotel so you can actually smell when you are getting close to the hotel when you are walking outside. Our room also stank like urine and when we asked for a new room the new “clean” room had the lasts guests trash still there. If you enjoy smelling month old urine from many people stacked up and 10xed that’s stained into the concrete the you should...

"You can’t lower the temperature of your room less than 68F. I was told by the front office and the manager that there is nothing they can do about it. Maintenance staff is rude and disrespectful. Elevators are small and take forever to arrive. Two out of four were non functional during the 3 day stay. Rooms are small may be 15x15 feet. Breakfast is good."

"The room was really nice and quite spacious for a Times Square location. The shower is 'curbless' so expect some water outside the shower. We dined elsewhere, but spent both a sunny and a rainy afternoon in the lounge. You're being charged a daily facility fee, which includes $10 off your bar tab if charged to your room, so take advantage. Great drinks and service in a relaxing atmosphere. Certainly would stay here again!"

"My room was dusty from the phone ,lamps an My nightstand - the bathroom countertops dust in corners. The rooms are in much need of updating. The housekeepers are not doing a good job. It could be an amazing property because the staff was super helpful and kind ."
