"The motel is the old style where you drive up to the door of your room. And the room was very basic. But it was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable and very convenient. It's located right on the highway and the Mackinac Island Ferry shuttle stops here when you call. It was so nice to just park at the motel and be picked up instead of having to drive down to the St. Ignace dock and pay for parking. Armand is very kind and helpful and as you can see from the photos he has a very impressive...

"The staff were friendly, I loved the hot tub, pool and sauna. The room was clean, no bad scents and the AC / Heat worked great. I also enjoyed the free continental breakfast. Plenty of free parking, and lots of good places to eat within walking distance."

"The room was old and unclean. It was lake front but had a door that didn't close properly instead of a sliding glass door like other lake front rooms. Shower was old with a shower head too short and the sink did not drain properly. The couch and carpet were filthy, base boards falling off the wall, and there was an old blood stain on the top blanket. We could hear people in the pool late at night through the wall and cigarette smokers beneath our room. I would not rebook."
