"Nice clean room. Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking."

"We like the Sparrow because of its location - near junction of A46 and M6 and it’s quite comfortable as well. We didn’t try the food on this occasion."

"All the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful from arrival to departure which made for an enjoyable stay. Our room was a good size with a four poster bed and a nice view to the front of the property. The hotel public areas looked great and were well kept. Food and drink prices in the hotel and grounds a little on the high side."

"I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around ."

"I booked this property cautiously, because it seemed too good to be true...£70 for the suite on the Friday of bank holiday weekend, including dog & continental breakfast! I'm delighted to say that I found a little gem! As an added bonus the food on the Friday evening was delicious & reasonably priced...thankyou!"

"Our room was not as big as expected from the photos and we were overlooking a flat roof with extractor fans continuously on - not so great when we had to have the windows open in the heat and could not get the ac to work. However an extremely helpful receptionist (Jay) gave us a different room a little bit further away which was a little bit bigger and slightly less noisy (thanks Jay 🙂). "Close to airport , walking distance"

It's so big with long hallways and lots of steps, considering we have a child in a Pram and lots of luggage it was so exhausting to carry everything from the car park to walk across to the hotel.
