"We could not have chosen a better hotel. Kat and her team are amazing. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Despite this being a pub the room was lovely and quiet. Food was delicious with lots of options. Breakfast was out of this world excellent. Location couldn't be better as it is right opposite the railway station. All in all a great experience. "Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel. No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance). So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors. Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good. Room was tidy and clean. Stayed in family room 5- has a double bed and a single bed. Things to improve -The soap dispenser fires the soap out all over you as it's mounted very...

"The bed was clean but extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom was not very clean the curtains had mould. The location is good, it’s very close to the beach, and good restaurants."

"Fairly new, smart comfortable rooms. Fan provided during hot weather. Tea, coffee, etc. Good sized room and bathroom. Overbath shower but decent shower. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner menu good and food reasonably priced. Only Doombar on draft for bitter but fine. Service friendly, helpful and prompt throughout. Recommended."

"Lobby area and breakfast area were well laid out. Room met our needs, air con worked well, shower was good. We used the fitness room too which was good size and not too busy. Chose to add on breakfast which had good variety. All staff very friendly. Would recommend."

"The room was in a great location and accessed by keypad so no key needed. Pre-check-in was done online that everything was easy. The room as well located on the High Street and close to places we wanted to visit. The room was very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable with lovely white crisp in. Plenty of hot drinks and orange juice and porridge provided. The over bath shower was fine but could have been better in terms of power and heat. The plumbing in this room...

"Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money."
